How to Recover Mailbox from EDB?

The mailbox can be recovered easily by using Data Protection Manager application.

Data Protection Manager – If you are familiar with Exchange then you must be aware of the fact that the Data Protection Manager (DPM) is accountable for backup and recovery functions. With the help of this utility, you can reinstate Exchange mailbox databases. Hence, we can say that with DPM, we can execute Exchange Server Recovery.

Using DPM Recovery Wizard – The moment you’ll select the database in the Protected data window pane, you will be able to see all related mailboxes to the particular database. You can also easily recover the desired database from here. This recovery process will depend on the cmd and Exchange power Shell.

Requirement: Log files and space for storing EDB File
Setup: Mail server along with mailbox role, a mailbox for import, the path for export
