Microsoft Outlook is a personalized information manager and an email client developed by Microsoft, including emails, calendars, task manager, etc. Outlook saves the file in PST format.
PST or Personal Storage file is the Outlook Data File used to store copies of message messages, calendar, data, etc. It is the local copy of the data stored in the computer for offline usage. The POP account usually uses the Outlook Data File (.pst) format.
To save your data from external threats like virus attacks or PC breakdowns, you should create a new PST file in MS Outlook. This PST file can contain all your data that needs protection. Hence creating a PST file is extremely beneficial in archiving emails. To create a new PST file, you need to select New Items and click Outlook Data File. It will, in turn, create the file in .pst format.
By setting a password, you need to enter it every time that Outlook Data File (.pst) is opened. It is a very easy method to create a new PST file. You can now save all your data in this PST file.

In the above method, you have created a new PST file, but if you want to add multiple MS Outlook Personal Data Files to Outlook, you can use a third-party software called Aryson Add PST File to Outlook.
