There could be a situation when you might need to convert PST to PDF format. PDF is the most used and comfortable file format to convey the data, and it also becomes comfortable to export Microsoft Outlook emails using it. In a scenario, when a person doesn’t have Outlook installed on his/her system, it becomes a tough task to open the email files of Outlook, but after converting the PST to PDF file format, it could be easily resolved.
Portability makes it easy to curate the information over multiple systems or platforms. PDF files are the best conveyor for the data. As the name suggests, it is widely portable for transporting the data in a document. PDF files are easy to carry, but PST files are not that portable. You cannot easily take a single email through multiple systems. To do so, you have to convert them into a portable format that is easy to carry. So for MS Outlook emails, you have to convert Outlook emails to PDF.
There are multiple reasons behind the scenario which arouses the requirement of the conversion:
There is no option available in Outlook to save your data as PDF, and you do need to convert the Outlook PST to PDF file format. For doing so, you can go for these two methods:-
Adobe Acrobat is one of the best software to perform this task, but it is also the costliest. However, if you can go for Acrobat, it offers a plug-in to Outlook, which can be later used to save emails as PDFs. For doing so, you get some additional options to get the PDF.
You can also save the new emails in previously created PDF files by selecting the “Append to existing PDF” from the drop-down. It also allows to set up Automatic Archival, which will automatically save an email in a PDF format whenever a new email is generated. It makes the process considerably simpler and more automated to carry out. After that, you can effortlessly carry Outlook email files in PDF format.
If you cannot use Acrobat or can’t afford this costly tool, you can also opt for the below methods.
If you are a Windows 10 user and working on Outlook 2016 and later, this will work out for you. It takes activating Microsoft Print to PDF and then using it to save PST files to PDF.
Check out PST Converter to PDF utility which can do the same task without extra effort. You need to add the PST file to it, and it will automatically generate all the outlook emails as PDF files. So there will be no issue regarding any costly tool or Outlook and Windows versions. You can convert PST of any version on any Windows edition.
As I previously stated, PDF files are portable; however, email files are not. So to fix the issue, we need to convert PST to PDF format, for which I’ve provided two different methods. Either you can opt for the DIYs or the automated approach. The DIY methods need some technical expertise, even though a novice user can do the professional one. I hope you find my content informative.
