Microsoft later acquired it and rebranded it as Outlook.com in 2012.Gmail, on the other hand, is developed by Google. Open Gmail and log in to it by entering your credentials.
Go to the top right of your mail and click on the gear button.
Choose Settings from the various options.
Now click on the Accounts and Import tab.
Next press Import Mail and Contacts options in Import mail and contacts sections.
Now a window will be opened showing “Step 1: Sign in to your other email account”. Enter your Outlook.com email address and press Continue.
Again press Continue button to forward email to Gmail.
Now confirm to Gmail for accessing Outlook.com account by clicking Yes.
In new windows, there is “Step 2: Import Options”. There are various options like – import contacts, import mail, import mail for the next 30 days. Choose one according to your choice.
Click on Start Import and then press OK button.

This will forward all your emails from Outlook.com to Gmail. The process will take some time depending on the size of your mails.
